Job Description

This role provides procurement and supplier expertise in strategic sourcing and category management, with a focus on Software, requiring strong commercial and contractual skills. The role involves delivering innovative, cost-effective methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and execute long-term agreements via RFx methodologies.
2. Analyze spend data and industry trends to identify sourcing initiatives.
3. Identify value and savings opportunities, and best practices.
4. Build relationships across business units for early supplier engagement.
5. Negotiate commercial terms and mitigate risks in strategic contracts.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies.
7. Support sourcing best practices, including supplier segmentation and reviews.
8. Lead supplier contract renewals, leveraging competitive pricing and quality.
9. Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers.
10. Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
11. Guide internal stakeholders on procurement strategies.
12. Develop relationships with senior leadership.
13. Provide expertise on complex purchasing and contractual issues.
14. Manage supplier relationships and reviews.
15. Handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
16. Be a team player in a transformative environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in contract negotiations preferred.
• Experience with IT, Professional Services, Software, SaaS, and emerging tech.
• Proven success in strategic sourcing projects and RFx processes.
• Track record of cost reduction and financial benefits.
• Ability to support complex software and service deals.
• Experience presenting to Director/VP levels.
• Preferred certifications: CPSM, CPM, PMP.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $170,000

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Management, or Supply Chain.
• 4+ years as a Procurement Category Manager or Purchasing Manager.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
