Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation is seeking a Procurement Category Manager in Indianapolis, IN. The role leads a team of buyers to develop and implement global procurement strategies, improve cost, quality, and delivery, and manage supplier relationships across major categories.

You will travel up to 25% domestically and internationally, negotiate complex contracts, and drive total cost reductions while ensuring supply continuity and risk mitigation. This is a hybrid role with three office days weekly.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 7+ years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• Master’s degree with 3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• JD/PhD acceptable; or 9+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex negotiations and cost analyses to maximize value across major categories.
• Draft contracts and build business cases to support supplier strategies.
• Develop and deploy integrated commodity/category supplier strategies and risk management plans.
• Mentor and lead buyers to achieve superior procurement outcomes for the business.
