Job summary

Whirlpool, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Procurement, Buyer for EHS & Sustainability within the Indirect Procurement team in Benton Harbor, MI. The role is onsite five days a week and collaborates with manufacturing, legal, and procurement to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements across the US.

The role will manage a broad spend portfolio, including recycling, waste management, uniforms, and PPE, and aims to deliver 4%+ YoY cost reductions and 10%+ supplier base rationalization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, or Finance.
• Experience in negotiating contracts and working with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead disciplined sourcing methods to support manufacturing and corporate office purchases.
• Lead contract negotiations and cost projects with key strategic suppliers to achieve best cost, quality, and delivery.
• Drive supplier base reduction through partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Respond to and resolve day-to-day operational supply base challenges.
