Avantus, a leader in utility-scale clean energy, seeks a Procurement Associate in San Diego to support the strategic procurement team across PV and storage systems. You will collaborate with legal, finance, EPC, and development teams to drive procurement excellence and ensure timely project closings.

Qualifications

• Solar industry experience is preferred.
• Three years of contract administration or equivalent experience.
• Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
• Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
• Reliability, dependability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Support procurement team on projects, admin tasks.
• Assist with project finance deliverables and closing timelines.
• Develop best practices for large-scale procurement in PV and storage.
• Support complex multi-party transactions and contracts.
• Manage supplier onboarding, ESG compliance, and insurance tracking.
• Review and prepare standard contract documents.
• Lead document execution and internal reporting.
• Track payments and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with ESG and SOX policies.
