BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst (Strategic Sourcing) to support the Combat Mission Systems (CMS), which includes Department of Defense Vehicles, Aerospace Products & Defense Group, and Weapon Systems.

Responsibilities

1. Identify, qualify, and onboard global suppliers to meet sector offset targets and other business objectives.
2. Communicate effectively with design and engineering teams on quality improvement, cost reduction, and design change opportunities.
3. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support business needs.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to introduce innovative technologies and processes for margin and service improvements.
5. Monitor global market trends and manage supply shortfalls, price adjustments, and market opportunities.
6. Lead and implement strategic projects and long-term supplier agreements.
7. Manage RFQ processes, analyze bids, and make sourcing decisions.
8. Negotiate and develop long-term agreements, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery standards.
9. Identify alternative suppliers to enhance BAE Systems' strategic position.
10. Strengthen supplier relationships and collaborate across supply chain functions.
11. Analyze forecast data and supplier bids to inform decision-making.
12. Apply continuous improvement techniques to internal processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
13. Ensure compliance and perform cost or price analyses to support negotiations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field with 4+ years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of engineering requirements, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience developing RFQ/RFP, contracts, financial analysis, negotiations, and purchase orders.
• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Experience purchasing multiple commodities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and component drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Eligibility to obtain security clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Knowledge of ITAR, FAR/DFAR regulations.
• Previous experience in the Defense Industry.
• Supplier audit experience.
• Knowledge of APQP.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $71,600 - $121,700. Salaries are determined based on market data, qualifications, skills, education, and experience.
