Senior Procurement Agent (Supplier Contract Admin)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Procurement Agent to join our team in Philadelphia, PA or St Louis City, MO.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
  • Partnering w/ Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for programs.
  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
  • The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem-solving skills. Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 8+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
  • 5+ years of experience leading projects from contract award through system requirements review, preliminary design review, critical design review, parts procurement, installation, testing, and delivery
  • 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
  • 5+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • Domestic and international travel as needed
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment is highly desired
  • Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices
  • Ability to be self-directed in work and/or previous experience in a self-directed role
  • Communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role
