Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Process Technician for a prominent client in Newton, NC. You will support engineers by machine setup, collecting production samples, and analyzing data to improve processes.

This is a one-year assignment, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Requirements: HS or equivalent (AS preferred), 3–5 years in manufacturing, and Excel proficiency. You should have experience identifying problems and implementing process improvements.

Qualifications

• HS or equivalent required (AS preferred).
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Excel.
• Background in identifying and implementing process improvements and equipment improvements in manufacturing.
• Experience identifying problems and recommending solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supports engineers in improving manufacturing processes via machine setups, collection and analysis of production samples, and data collection and analysis.
• Plans sequence of operations for experimental trials, balancing conflicting requirements and evaluating methods for efficiency and operator comfort.
