Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Process Technician for a prominent client in Newton, NC. You will support engineers by machine setup, collecting production samples, and analyzing data to improve processes.

This is a one-year assignment, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Requirements: HS or equivalent (AS preferred), 3–5 years in manufacturing, and Excel proficiency. You should have experience identifying problems and implementing process improvements.

Qualifications

• HS or equivalent required (AS preferred).
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Excel.
• Background in identifying and implementing process improvements and equipment improvements in manufacturing.
• Experience identifying problems and recommending solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supports engineers in improving manufacturing processes via machine setups, collection and analysis of production samples, and data collection and analysis.
• Plans sequence of operations for experimental trials, balancing conflicting requirements and evaluating methods for efficiency and operator comfort.

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Process Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Newton, NC. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• Pay is $38-55/hr to start!!
• 1- year assignment with the potential for extension/conversion based on performance and budget.
• Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
• Supports engineers in improving manufacturing processes via machine setups, collection and analysis of produciton samples, and collection and analysis of data.
• Plans sequence of operations for experimental trials, exercising judgment in compromising between conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods, and operator effectiveness and comfort.

Qualifications:

• HS/Equivalent Required (A.S preferred)
• 3- 5 Years in Manufacturing environment
• Experience with Excel.
• Looking for a technician who has background / experience in identifying, analyzing, and supporting implementation of process improvements and equipment improvements within a manufacturing environment.
• Background in identifying problems and recommending solutions
