Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Journeyman certification or willingness to complete apprenticeship.
• Advanced knowledge of plastic processing equipment and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead and direct employees.
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift 35 pounds.
• Production leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, professional, motivated and positive working environment.
• Oversee startup and shutdown of extrusion, lamination, slitting, die cutting, and forming equipment.
• Maintain labor efficiency at 100%.
• Supervise the duties of operators.
• Disseminate daily job assignments.
• Ensure documentation and accounting of inventory transactions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly department.
• Record production results in the WebEFF system.
• Notify maintenance if a machine fails.
• Uphold safety, environmental and health requirements.
