Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Advisor in Downstream Chemicals Service Delivery to provide advanced technical support across districts, acting as field SME for process technologies and applications. You will help optimize crude process units, chemical treatment programs, and operational performance while guiding job planning, execution, and analysis.

You will lead technical projects, mentor teams, deliver training, and represent the company at industry forums.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Chemical Engineering preferred.
15+ years of downstream refining experience, including 10+ years in refining Process applications.
10+ years of field, operations, or application support in refining process technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead process technical support for existing and new downstream refining accounts across districts, ensuring flawless execution from pre-planning through post-job analysis.
Collaborate with Service Delivery, Sales, and Technology teams to design technical job programs, including risk mitigation and performance optimization.
Provide on-demand technical support for Process applications, including recommendations for new or enhanced chemical treatment programs.
Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders at corporate and field levels.
Identify opportunities and work with field teams to drive technical projects and value-creation initiatives.
Participate in industry forums and technical committees as a Baker Hughes representative.
Conduct annual technical audits and health checks for assigned accounts to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
Support Operations, Technology, and Manufacturing teams with Process chemistry portfolio needs and deployment of new technologies.
Deliver technical presentations and training sessions for customers, field personnel, and internal teams.
Perform job hazard and incident potential assessments to ensure safe application of Process technologies.
Support field incident reviews and investigations to ensure end-to-end analysis and corrective actions.
Lead special projects and product line initiatives as assigned by the business.
