Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• At least 5 years of process safety or EHS experience in manufacturing/scientific settings.
• Experience conducting PHAs using HAZOP/What-If, applying LOPA, and recommending risk reductions.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, operating limits, and safeguards and communicate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as site PSM SME and advisor for PSM standards across sites.
• Maintain PSM procedures, tools, templates, and training; implement changes and lessons.
• Oversee hazardous process inventories and PHA revalidation schedules; guide risk reviews.
• Lead PHAs (HAZOP, What-If, LOPA) and approve reports and revalidations.
• Coordinate ALARP reviews with owners, engineering, and global experts; document rationale and actions.
• Support Capital projects from design through turnover; ensure safety and risk reduction measures.
• Lead EHS MOC procedures, alignment with Pre-Start-Up Safety and Environmental Reviews.
