Job summary

Firefly Aerospace is seeking an HSE Engineer III to provide comprehensive safety and Process Safety Management (PSM) support at their Briggs, Texas facility. This role involves leading initiatives for environmental, health, and safety compliance across high-risk aerospace operations, including propulsion testing and hazardous operations.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in industrial settings, with strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and a focus on process safety. Mentorship and guidance of junior staff, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams, are key components of this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HSE experience.
• 3+ years of direct Process Safety Management (PSM) experience.
• Formal training or certification in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE and PSM programs for propulsion testing.
• Facilitate and participate in Process Hazard Analyses.
• Develop and maintain PSM documentation.
