Qualifications

• BS in a relevant field, or AS with 2+ years of relevant experience, or 4+ years in batteries or electrochemical devices.
• Hands-on lab/manufacturing experience with measurement, testing, and data recording.
• Ability to follow written procedures and record data accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing on incoming materials, in‑process components, and finished cells according to established test methods and acceptance criteria.
• Record and verify quality data in established systems, checking records for completeness and flagging values that fall outside expected ranges.
• Maintain process control charts for assigned operations and escalate out‑of‑control signals to the owner and manager.
• Draft and revise SOPs and work instructions for quality control methods under senior engineers' direction.
• Investigate nonconforming material and process deviations and contribute to root cause analyses.
• Perform incoming inspection on supplier materials and track open supplier quality issues to closure.
• Compile quality metrics and prepare recurring reports for process owners and QA team.
• Follow and help improve safety practices on the lab and manufacturing floor.
