Job summary

Robinson Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to direct, coordinate and monitor process piping activities on a construction site within a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and project-management skills to anticipate risks, manage scope, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on site.

The role involves coordinating with the Project Manager, supervising pipe fitters and welders, and maintaining strong client relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in construction management or equivalent background preferred.
• Substantial knowledge of the construction industry; seven years of construction experience.
• Ability to communicate and manage projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and monitors activities of construction workers on a construction site.
• Develops project schedules and conducts safety and quality control inspections.
• Reads drawings and specifications to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
• Anticipates and identifies project issues and risks, communicates them and proposes solutions.
• Enforces safety and quality standards and conducts inspections.
• Maintains client relationships to support future work.
• Takes responsibility for safety on the site and ensures compliance with policies.
