Job summary

Robinson Construction is seeking a Superintendent to direct, coordinate and monitor process piping activities and pipe fitters on a construction site within an existing manufacturing facility. Knowledge of sanitary tubing and orbital welding is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent background preferred
• Substantial knowledge of the construction industry; seven years of construction experience
• Ability to communicate and manage projects effectively

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and monitors construction activities on site, including pipe fitters and welders
• Collaborates to define construction requirements and project schedules; controls scope and budget
• Enforces safety and quality standards and conducts inspections
• Reads drawings and specifications to plan procedures and determine requirements
• Maintains client relationships and ensures timely communication of issues and changes
• Coordinates with Project Manager on schedule development and resource needs
• Maintains project documentation and ensures proper closeout and reporting

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent background preferred

Substantial knowledge of the construction industry; seven years of construction experience
