Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Process Operator (Tech 3 or Higher) in Carlin, NV. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of grinding, crushing, carbon-in-leach, resin-in-leach, and other processing circuits, with emphasis on chemical handling and process control.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential functions in hot or cold weather.
• Proven ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
• Solid safety and attendance record.
• 3–5 years in a processing facility (preferred).
• Knowledge of high/low pressure systems (preferred).
• Direct experience in Process or Mining environment (preferred).
• Experience handling chemicals and reagents (preferred).
• Experience across stages of gold ore processing (preferred).
• Capable of performing Tech 2 duties proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct work area exams to identify hazards and correct issues.
• Inspect equipment to identify conditions affecting safety or reliability.
• Inspect equipment in detail; document deficiencies and create work requests.
• Maintain circuit operating parameters within limits.
• Ensure sampling at designated intervals and document results.
• Operate assigned circuit(s) to meet regulatory requirements.
• Start/stop components; troubleshoot as required.
• Understand process flows and perform LOTO as needed.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform other duties; rotate nights and days.
