Job summary

Grayhill is seeking an Injection M molding Maintenance Technician for our Iola, Wisconsin facility. You will perform setup and operation of plastic molding machines, establish processes for new and existing tooling, and document setup sheets for new molds.

You will troubleshoot molding processes, maintain tooling, and ensure quality on first/last shots while coordinating with tool room and management to optimize throughput and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Five to Seven years relevant experience.
• Plastics Injection Molding–Certificate/Degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and operation of plastic injection molding machines.
• Set up, sample, and establish a process for new and existing tools.
• Create and approve set up sheets for new molds and maintain records.
• Interpret Manufacturer's Data Sheets for molding materials.
• Set up auxiliary equipment and perform qualification on new equipment.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshoot injection molding, tooling and secondary operations.
• Operate according to production schedules and ensure quality on first and last shots.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and manage tooling changes.
