B&B Concrete Contractors in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator to drive accurate, competitive project estimates from bid through handoff. You’ll evaluate scope, risks, and constructability for water and wastewater infrastructure, partnering with operations and project management.

You’ll develop budgets for treatment facilities, pump stations, and piping, perform quantity takeoffs, and solicit subcontractor proposals.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Experience estimating water and/or wastewater construction projects.
• Experience with self-performed structural concrete and/or heavy civil construction.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and productivity.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong quantity takeoff, cost analysis, and scope review skills.
• Experience with scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop estimates for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, process piping, and related infrastructure.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing for self-performed labor, materials, and equipment.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals and ensure scope coverage.

• Participate in bid reviews with operations and project management.
• Prepare detailed project budgets and lead estimating-to-project-team handoffs.
• Support subcontractor and supplier buyout following award.
• Partner with operations and project teams to help set projects up for successful execution.

We are looking for an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator to join our team. You’ll play a key role in pursuing and planning water and wastewater infrastructure projects, developing accurate, competitive estimates and partnering closely with operations and project management from bid through project handoff.

We’re looking for someone who understands water/wastewater construction and self-performed work and can evaluate scope, constructability, risk, and cost—not just perform takeoffs.
