Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to drive process mechanical design across projects, manage diverse teams, and ensure QAQC of deliverables. You will engage with clients, prepare specs, and coordinate with vendors to deliver costed engineering solutions.

The role is based at Foth’s Mehoopany, Pennsylvania office with on-site 1–2 days weekly, and occasional travel up to 25%. Hotel accommodations are provided for required onsite days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years of process engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams of engineers, designers, contractors, construction managers, vendors, and OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the process mechanical design effort on projects.
• Hold team members accountable to quality work product.
• Perform QAQC of engineering and design deliverables.
• Support business development and proposal activities including concepts, deliverables, effort hours, and estimated cost.
• Interface with clients and vendors regularly.
• Gather field data and conduct field investigations for project work.
• Generate equipment specifications and construction documents/packages.
• Collaborate with contractors and client as part of project team.
• Review vendor submittals and lead design reviews internally and with client.
• Travel to client sites and vendors up to 25%.
