Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to contribute to client success and grow with a long‑standing, stable team based in Mehoopany, PA. The role focuses on leading process mechanical design, coordinating a multidisciplinary group, and delivering robust technical solutions for challenging projects.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in mechanical or chemical engineering and 10+ years of process engineering experience, with PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of process engineering experience
• Experience leading and managing teams of engineers, designers, contractors, construction managers, vendors, and OEMs
• Experience with P&ID’s
• Preparation of installation, bid, and construction packages
• Process and utility system piping design
• Cost estimating (labor hours and capital cost estimates)

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the process mechanical design effort on projects
• Hold team members accountable to quality work product
• Perform QAQC of engineering and design deliverables
• Support business development and proposal activities which will include concepts, deliverables, effort hours, and estimated cost
• Interface with clients and vendors on a regular basis
• Travel to client sites and vendors for work (up to 25%)
