Job summary

Hargrove is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to drive conceptual through detailed design for biopharma manufacturing facilities. You will coordinate upstream and downstream equipment, support procurement, and ensure FDA/GMP compliance.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years in biopharma or chemical manufacturing, a mechanical engineering degree, and PE registration is preferred. Strong leadership and cross‑disciplinary collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of design standards and codes.
• Ability to specify piping materials and procurement specs.
• Experience estimating mechanical/piping quantities.
• Ability to lead small teams for scope delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate mechanical systems for biopharma facilities.
• Provide support for procurement, reviews, and construction.
• Develop conceptual layouts and preliminary designs.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure conformance to specs.
