Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems seeks a Continuous Imp Sr Specialist to analyze and measure business processes, developing sustainable, repeatable improvements and benchmarking best practices both inside and outside the organization.

The role involves collecting and analyzing process data to drive safety, productivity, and cost reductions, and exploring how new information technologies can support reengineering efforts. You may lead projects or guide colleagues.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Major in Business, Engineering, Operations or related field preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Studies organizational processes and develops quality and efficiency improvements.
• Evaluates internal processes and identifies opportunities for improvements.
• Gathers data for KPIs, evaluates current state, and proposes future state goals.
• Measures results of improvement strategies and modifies programs accordingly.
• Assists in development and delivery of continuous improvement training.
