Job summary

Spinnaker International is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead a multiyear process improvement program for a large food and beverage manufacturer. You will build baselines, cost models, and analyses that drive design decisions while converting large data sets into executive-ready presentations.

The role covers Measure-Design-Implement-Confirm phases, requires hands-on Lean/Six Sigma with multi-site deployment, and daily use of AI tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on process improvement experience; Lean or Six Sigma certification required.
• Seven+ years in food or beverage manufacturing in quality, food safety, operations, or CI.
• Implemented or led ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or FSSC 22000 across at least one certification cycle.
• Deployed management systems across multiple sites with adoption by plant teams.
• Use of AI models (Claude/ChatGPT) daily and ability to vet outputs.
• Travel about half of working weeks for 2–3 day plant visits.

Responsibilities

• Measure and establish a baseline across plants.
• Build enterprise baseline: documents, audit programs, governance, platforms.
• Lead plant-level assessments on site and interview key staff.
• Develop cost-of-compliance model in Excel and analyze findings.
• Design future-state system and policies for plant teams to follow.
• Redesign internal audits and management reviews for risk-weighted processes.
• Define platform requirements and training framework.
• Pilot plant and multi-plant rollout with change management.
• Draft executive presentations with the Engagement Lead and use AI daily.
