Avio USA seeks a Senior Process & Facilities Engineer to drive the buildout, commissioning, and launch of a new aerospace and defense manufacturing facility in Hurt, Virginia. You will translate processes into layouts, select equipment, and coordinate across engineering, operations, facilities, and program leadership to move from design through production ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, Materials, or related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, facilities engineering, or capital project engineering.
• Experience developing manufacturing‑area layouts and optimizing production flow.

Responsibilities

• Translate manufacturing processes into facility layouts, equipment requirements, and production flow.
• Manage capital projects involving installation and facility modifications with contractors and suppliers.
• Support production launch, ramp, and qualification activities to achieve stable production.
