Clear Concepts, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Manager of Process Engineering to lead a growing manufacturing operation. This onsite role oversees a sizable team of engineers and technicians, driving design transfers, DFMs, and continuous improvements across multiple product lines.

You will guide cross-functional teams, participate in CAPAs and quality systems, and contribute to lean initiatives. A base salary of $150,000–$160,000 with annual bonus is offered, plus relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years in process or manufacturing engineering.
• 3+ years managing an engineering team.
• Proven experience with machining.
• NPI experience and design for manufacturability input.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Serve as primary process and manufacturing expert on cross-functional teams.
• Drive design transfer of new products into production, including supplier sites.
• Guide process capability assessments and implement improvements.
• Develop processes, tooling, fixturing and automation.
• Write and review process validation protocols and reports.
• Ensure documentation meets quality system requirements (BOMs, routers, FMEAs).
• Own deliverables tied to CAPA, project management and quality systems.
• Lead manufacturing technical reviews and development builds.
• Participate in kaizen events and contribute to IP submissions.
