Job summary
Solstice Advanced Materials is seeking a Process Engineer III to provide technical expertise for 24/7 manufacturing operations, focusing on safety, quality, yields, and cost efficiency. You will lead continuous improvements and assist in scaling up developmental products while guiding the operations team in troubleshooting and capital projects.
The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, process modeling, and energy efficiency initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
- 3+ years in process, production and/or manufacturing engineering in chemical/petroleum/polymer environments.
- Ability to work independently and make technical decisions with minimal supervision.
- Strong background in process troubleshooting and unit operations optimization.
- Experience leading MOCs, RCAs and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide site support for operational issues and challenges.
- Lead MOC reviews and contribute to the PSM program development.
- Drive process improvements to improve OEE, yield, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers and operators to implement innovative solutions.
- Mentor other engineers and lead process changes.
