Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Process Engineer III to lead process design activities for Water, Wastewater, Reclaim Water, and UPW Systems. You will own sizing, deliverables, and technical evaluations, interfacing with customers and vendors to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

Role requires advanced engineering knowledge, independent work, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Travel is possible for reviews and startup activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or environmental engineering required.
• 7 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with UPW, wastewater, reclaim water systems.
• Ability to develop process calculations, sizing, and mass balances.
• Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with third‑party sizing software.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute process engineering scope for portions of small to medium projects including UPW, wastewater, and reclaim water systems.
• Develop and check core deliverables such as mass balances, process descriptions, PFDs, and P&IDs.
• Review P&IDs, 3D models, and interdisciplinary documents for accuracy and constructability.
• Coordinate with automation, mechanical, electrical, and layout teams for integrated designs.
• Interface with vendors to evaluate equipment options and support procurement decisions.
• Support proposal, RFI, and RFP efforts through sizing concepts and risk evaluation.
• Participate in commissioning, startup, and operational troubleshooting.
