Job summary

TEL Manufacturing and Engineering of America, Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Process Engineer III to design and optimize manufacturing processes, run hands-on lab work, and analyze data for continuous improvement. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to support demos, integration, and field issue resolution.

The role emphasizes process understanding, disciplined problem-solving, and strong communication, with travel to Taiwan as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 5+ years engineering experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years professional Engineering experience.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment or fully automated capital equipment.
• Experience with gas-cluster beam and/or ion implantation technology and etch is a plus.
• Proven experience in applying lean principles and formal problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops new or modified process formulations and equipment specifications for manufacturing.
• Understands and exploits process physics to achieve goals.
• Designs and executes process optimization experiments and analyzes data.
• Hands-on lab work and data analysis.
• Ensure quality execution of experiments and material processing.
• Collaborate with customer engineers and internal teams for demos and integration.
• Present findings to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support field issue troubleshooting and product adoption.
