Job summary

Sasol Lake Charles, United States, is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to ensure SHE and process safety compliance and to provide Process Engineering technical support to Operating Units to sustain and improve profitability.

You will lead the development of Conceptual Design and Basic Engineering Packages as part of the Project Development life cycle, coordinate with other disciplines, and build strong working relationships within the Business Team to optimize unit performance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in a PSM environment preferred.
• Experience in strategic optimization of specialty chemicals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SHE and process safety compliance requirements are met.
• Provide Process Engineering technical support to Operating Units to sustain profitability.
• Lead the development of Conceptual Design and Basic Engineering Packages as part of the Project Development life cycle.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and maintain strong working relationships within the Business Team.
