Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in refining, chemical processing, or a related industrial process environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of industrial process equipment including pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, fired equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering and design activities in support of capital projects.
• Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance performance.
• Troubleshoot complex production and process issues using structured root cause analysis.
• Provide process engineering expertise and day-to-day technical support to plant operations.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, project teams, and site leadership to execute improvements.
• Participate in Process Safety Management activities including MOC, PSSR, PSI, PHA, and MI.
• Support project development activities including option evaluation, economic analysis, design basis development, P&IDs, commissioning, and closeout.
• Monitor industry developments to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Apply analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain a continuous-learning mindset to develop new technical capabilities.
