Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 6+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Master's degree with 4+ years preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt desirable.
• Swiss screw machining experience preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor engineers.
• Strong GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with SPC.
• Hands-on with manufacturing equipment to develop machining knowledge.
• SolidWorks proficiency.
• Experience with CAD, BOMs, process routers.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process development and optimization for precision dental devices.
• Manage continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Identify, recommend, and lead engineering projects supporting manufacturing objectives including automation and AI.
• Collaborate with Technical Center on feasibility R&D, NPI projects, and related initiatives.
• Prepare parts for production with CAD models, shop drawings, BOMs, process routers, and documentation.
• Provide technical leadership in resolving production issues including MRB activities.
• Contribute to process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Develop and maintain SOPs and related documentation.
• Coach and support engineering team members.
• Organize meetings to communicate status, priorities, risks to stakeholders.
