Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an on-site Manufacturing Associate to support maintenance and reliability across penicillin manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate with Engineering, Production and Quality teams to ensure equipment, plants and utilities operate reliably, enabling timely delivery of medicines.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and participation in CAPA and change controls, with emphasis on safety and compliance in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance/Engineering team in planning, overseeing and improving preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Review preventive and corrective work order activities and provide troubleshooting support & equipment maintenance history review.
• Contribute to CI initiatives including change controls and maintenance projects.
• Support contractor/vendor management for maintenance activities and provide contractor/vendor invoice and PO support.
• Participate in RCFA and FMEA to update equipment reliability plans.
• Perform GMP investigations and CAPA for equipment issues and root causes.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality on troubleshooting and equipment improvements.
• Promote safety and follow site procedures, fostering a safe work culture.
• Provide input on capital projects regarding equipment selection and maintenance requirements.
• Assist with maintenance document management and archival.
• Contribute to project tasks, organize work to meet deadlines.
