Job summary

Audubon Companies seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead process-engineering work from early concepts through detailed design, collaborating with clients, project teams, designers, vendors, and other engineering disciplines. You will influence safety, operability, cost, schedule, and technical performance with sound judgment and ownership of outcomes.

The role requires 12+ years of EPC experience, with leadership in large multidisciplinary projects and proficiency in process simulations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 12+ years of process-engineering experience within an EPC environment.
• Experience leading process scope on multidisciplinary projects with TIlC > $100M.
• 10+ years in Cryogenic Gas Separation, Gas Treating, LNG, or related fields.
• Experience developing process simulations and leading P&ID development.
• Ability to organize work, set priorities, and meet budgets/schedules.
• Preferred: EIT or PE and field/construction/startup experience.
• Preferred: Aspen HYSYS, UniSim Design, ProMax proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead process-engineering activities from concept to project execution.
• Develop, review, and approve process design deliverables and data sheets.
• Establish simulations to evaluate facility performance and design options.
• Lead P&ID development ensuring controls and safety standards are met.
• Plan and manage scope, budgets, schedules, and resources; flag risks early.
• Develop man-hour estimates and total installed-cost forecasts.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, designers, vendors.
• Review vendor proposals for technical compliance and procurement support.
• Provide guidance and feedback to engineers to maintain quality and accountability.
