Job summary

NSG Group/Pilkington in Shelbyville, IN is seeking a maintenance supervisor for a full-time, on-site role supporting a 24/7 automotive glass operation. You will develop and manage predictive maintenance, FMEA and shutdowns, coordinate parts and downtime actions, and drive continuous improvement across all lines.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3+ years leading manufacturing teams, strong communication, and proven results in maintenance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technically related field.
• 3+ years' experience managing people in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to adapt communication style to interact with a wide variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Develops/maintains/supervises/predictive maintenance systems to ensure optimum equipment reliability.
• Develops/maintains equipment FMEA’s to identify and address critical failure modes.
• Audits preventative/predictive inspections to ensure effectiveness.
• Participates in team analysis for problem solving of major breakdowns.
• Coordinates shutdowns for proper manning and materials.
