Lithium Americas is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead and optimize the sulfuric acid plant and lithium processing facilities at Thacker Pass, NV. Based at the site, you will guide commissioning, startup, operations, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.

The role requires a strong chemical engineering background, 10–15+ years of processing experience, and leadership in safety-critical environments.

Competenze

• Bachelor-level chemical engineering required; 10–15+ years in chemical processing
• Experience with plant commissioning, start-up and operations
• Strong knowledge of process safety and PSM/MSHA familiarity preferred
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities in cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision making
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
