Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in web converting manufacturing.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical role within web converting manufacturing.
• Formal training or practical job-related experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and internal team members to identify and document product requirements, features, benefits, and performance characteristics.
• Plan, coordinate, and document trial runs to ensure product requirements are achieved.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate, identify, and specify suitable materials.
• Formulate manufacturing methods and coordinate the design of new process equipment.
• Generate product specifications, quality plans, test methods, work instructions, risk assessments, and related technical documentation.
• Oversee the release of novel products into the manufacturing pipeline.
• Optimize, troubleshoot, and refine processes and systems for products already released to production.
• Construct cost models and budgets for trial runs, commercial production, and capital expenditures.
• Manage multiple complex technical projects concurrently while meeting established cost, time, and quality targets.
• Prepare and present detailed technical reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
