Job summary

AgCertain Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide operational leadership for safe, GMP-compliant production and ongoing process improvements.

The role involves leading, training and developing staff, scheduling, and managing inventories in the glycerin/oil refining context. You will act as a liaison between design, engineering, and manufacturing, driving continuous improvement and ensuring adherence to SOPs, safety, and food/fuel industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum five years of technical industry experience.
• Experience in biodiesel, ethanol, food processing plant or manufacturing facility preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to ensure safe production and GMP compliance.
• Lead safety committee and ensure regulatory adherence across operations.
• Analyze process data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain reporting on throughput, quality, safety, and costs.
• Coordinate design, engineering, and manufacturing activities for process improvements.
• Support commissioning through IQ/OQ/PQ stages and documentation updates.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and coordinate MOC projects.
