Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to lead manufacturing process optimization on a high-volume wire and cable production line. You will collaborate with operations, quality, and R&D to improve safety, quality, and throughput.

You will perform process capability studies, set controls, lead capital projects, and guide vendor reviews while mentoring operators on the production floor.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of manufacturing process engineering experience.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Lean Six Sigma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing processes to identify trends and variation.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions to improve quality and stability.
• Conduct process capability studies and establish process controls.
• Collect and analyze production and quality data and report findings.
• Lead equipment upgrades, capital projects, and process validations.
• Train operators and develop SOPs; present updates to leadership.
