Job summary

Gray AES is seeking a Process Engineer III for the Atlanta, GA area with flexibility to be based in Cincinnati, OH; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; or Lexington, KY. The role leads complex process design for food and beverage lines and drives project execution from design through commissioning.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, have proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD, and demonstrate strong collaboration and documentation skills. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on process systems.
• Demonstrated experience in detailed process design for food and beverage processing lines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and customers.
• EIT certification preferred; PE license is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for site audits, installations, and customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex process design efforts for food and beverage applications.
• Execute full project scope including design, budgeting, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to align goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement and documentation of processes.
