Zusammenfassung

Kunin Technologies seeks a Process Engineer to translate bench and mini-pilot results into the Chattanooga plant design basis. You will develop PFDs, mass and energy balances, materials of construction, and the control philosophy under the VP of Engineering.

You will own the basic engineering package, perform HAZOP as process owner, review vendor data, and witness factory acceptance tests, helping deliver a first-of-a-kind metal recovery plant in partnership with an overseas client.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering required.
• 7+ years of process engineering in hydrometallurgy, specialty chemicals, chlor-alkali or electronic materials.
• FEED package experience delivered to an EPC contractor.
• Working knowledge of corrosion and materials selection for HCl, chlorine and chloride service.
• Proficient in Aspen Plus or equivalent; AutoCAD Plant 3D or equivalent P&ID tools.
• Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding atmosphere.
• Creative problem solving for first-of-a-kind plant.

Aufgaben

• Scale-up mini-pilot data into the process design basis (mass and energy balances, recovery, reagents, effluents).
• Create the basic engineering package: PFDs, balances, process datasheets, materials of construction, control philosophy, HAZOP prep, utility and effluent summaries.
• Review contractor's P&IDs and datasheets against process intent; evaluate vendor bids and witness FATs.
• Provide commissioning support, lead performance testing and write operating procedures for partner's operators.
