Job summary

TritenIAG, headquartered in Houston, TX, seeks a senior chemical/process engineer with 10+ years of refinery/petrochemical experience to lead front-end engineering and capital project support. This role reports to the Executive Director of Project Development and involves mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with clients.

Responsibilities include economic evaluations, process safety studies (PHA/LOPA), and leading refinery performance studies while staying current with new technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of related process engineering experience in refinery/petrochemical/oil & gas.
• PE license preferred in Texas or South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Develop design basis and front-end engineering for capital proyectos.
• Serve as project manager for early phase work and lead process studies.
• Perform economic evaluations for option analyses.
• Conduct studies to improve plant safety, reliability, and economics.
• Prepare process design basis and specifications for revamps and new projects; use process simulators.
