Job summary

A prominent engineering company in Suwanee, GA is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to introduce new products into manufacturing while ensuring quality. Qualifications

• 6+ years of demonstrated experience in SMT process engineering.
• Experience in Contract Manufacturing and EMS industry desired.
• Must be able to read and understand PCA assembly drawings and technical notes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates customer drawings and data for labor quotation.
• Leads the development of design documentation and materials.
• Supports the Lean culture and effectively uses Lean Sigma concepts.

Skills

Design for manufacturability DFM for electronic assemblies

Expert knowledge of IPC 610, IPC J-Standard 001

Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing methods

Strong thorough knowledge of DFM, NPI, Pin-in-Paste, PoP processes

Communication interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline
