Job summary

Flex is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to join our Salt Lake City team. You will drive process-engineering initiatives focused on cost, quality and on-time delivery within a high-technology electronics manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will help design, implement and optimize manufacturability, participate in process changes, and lead capital equipment projects while developing robust process controls and documentation to support SpinCo initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with process engineering in a high technology electronics environment.
• Ability to define, implement and evaluate manufacturability designs and processes.
• Strong problem solving and root-cause analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production and manage ECOs.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and control methodologies.
