Job summary

M2X Energy is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to own the process engineering scope for bio-methanol and RNG facilities across the asset life cycle. You will design, commission, start up, and continuously improve gas conditioning, separation and conversion units, developing PFDs, P&IDs, and heat/mass balances.

You will run simulations (HYSYS/Aspen/Pro/II), support field operations, lead process safety reviews, and drive reliability and performance improvements while collaborating with

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related discipline with 10+ years in gas processing, chemicals, refining, or renewable fuels.
• Hands-on design and operating experience with gas separation and treating unit operations (PSA/TSA/membrane/cryogenic/absorption) and supporting equipment.
• Proficiency with process simulation software and active participation in process hazard analyses.

Responsibilities

• Own operations support and troubleshooting across sites; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor KPIs (methane recovery, product quality, energy use) and translate data into engineering improvements.
• Develop and maintain PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, BOMs for new sites and modifications.
• Build and review process simulations to size equipment and evaluate design/off-design cases.
• Lead commissioning, startup support, and supplier/vendor performance testing.
