Job summary

M2X Energy Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design, development, and manufacturing of modular process equipment and systems for gas-to-methanol plants.

You will translate process designs into detailed mechanical work, create 3D models, and guide prototypes to scalable production at our Rockledge, Florida facility. The role requires hands-on assembly experience, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, and demonstrated ability to drive cost-effective, quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with construction, fabrication, and assembly of equipment and large-scale process equipment.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of process systems, mechanical codes, and safety specifications.
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical assembly, electrical integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience taking concepts from design through pilot stages to full-scale manufacturing.
• Experience with quality systems and root cause problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support, documentation, and manufacturing input for teams.
• Review designs to improve manufacturability and support fabrication with drawings and procedures.
• Design and develop process equipment including vessels, piping, and heat exchangers.
• Create and review 3D models, drawings, assembly instructions; coordinate with fabrication teams.
• Translate P&IDs and process flows into repeatable fabrication workflows.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and assembly guides for technicians and contractors.
• Specify tools, fixtures, and jigs to improve build accuracy and reduce cycle time.
• Lead root cause analysis for defects and deviations; drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, NEC, OSHA; coordinate factory acceptance testing.
