Job summary

ASM is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to advance semiconductor processes, focusing on oxidation, annealing, ALD/PEALD, Epitaxy, and PECVD for logic, memory, analog, power, and MEMS devices. The role emphasizes experimental design, complex data interpretation, and IP generation.

Graduates in Fall 2026 or within the past two years with 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. Travel up to 10% may be required as part of customer demonstrations and transfer to end users.

Qualifications

• Graduate within the last 0–2 years or will graduate in Spring or Fall 2026.
• Master’s or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
• 0–2 years of professional work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new films for emerging applications using ALD, PEALD, Epitaxy, and/or PECVD.
• Operate semiconductor processing equipment to research, develop and optimize deposition processes.
• Publish technical papers and contribute to IP development.
• Conduct DOE and RSM-based experiments and analyze results.
• Document process development, tool operation and maintenance; train field personnel.
• Support customer demonstrations and documentation; travel up to 10% as needed.
