Job summary

Creation Technologies is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join its Customer Focused Team, driving cradle-to-grave ownership from prototype to sustaining production. The SME will ensure products meet customer requirements and specifications, collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to enable robust product launches and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent experience in an electronics‑related discipline.
• 10+ years electronics manufacturing background.
• Detailed electronic component and PCB knowledge.
• Experience with Aegis Factory Logix software, DFM, PFMEA, Lean/Six Sigma fundamentals.
• PLM/ERP experience; CAM350 experience; New Product Introduction experience.

Responsibilities

• Support product launch activities and handle all technical aspects of new product launches in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Conduct DFx analysis and reporting, develop manufacturing processes, and create assembly documents for new products.
• Perform sustaining engineering activities, manage engineering changes, and maintain configuration management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Interface with subject matter experts in Test Engineering and Process Engineering for development of testing equipment capabilities.
• Review customer PCB board designs, optimize layouts, and discuss technical details with suppliers.
• Support production teams through root‑cause analysis of manufacturing non‑conformances.
• Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or other stakeholders.
• Present information to top management, customer groups, and other audiences.

Job Overview

The Senior Process Engineer (SME) is a critical member of Creation's Customer Focused Team, responsible for bringing our customer's new product designs into realization. The SME will ensure products meet customer requirements and specifications, with cradle-to-grave ownership from prototype stage to sustaining production.

Responsibilities

• Support product launch activities and handle all technical aspects of new product launches in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Conduct DFx analysis and reporting, develop manufacturing processes, and create assembly documents for new products.
• Perform sustaining engineering activities, manage engineering changes, and maintain configuration management throughout the product lifecycle.

• Experience with Aegis Factory Logix software, DFM, PFMEA, Lean/Six Sigma fundamentals.
• PLM/ERP experience highly desired; CAM350 experience highly desired; New Product Introduction desired.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload.

Required Skills

• Extended knowledge of industry‑accepted manufacturing, quality, and technical standards (IPC, JIT, Lean, etc.).
• ISO9001 and ISO13485 experience preferred; AS9100 or medical device manufacturing experience an asset.
• Ability to interpret technical documents: schematics, prints, tolerances.
• Analytical skills: collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Data analysis in Excel.
• Organized, self‑motivated, multi‑tasking ability.
• Comfortable presenting to and meeting customers in person.
• Strong learning mindset.
