Job summary

Heraeus Materials Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead troubleshooting on the production line and sustain steady operations in a high-demand environment.

The role focuses on KPI monitoring, RCA/FMEA support, and driving Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste. Candidates should have 6+ years in manufacturing and a strong background in SAP-based BOM and routing management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical, Electrical/ Electronics, or Materials Science.
• 6+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Operational Health and Safety (OHS) and EMS.
• SAP knowledge to create BOM, routing and new material numbers.

Responsibilities

• Daily line troubleshooting and sustaining operations.
• Monitor KPIs and keep processes within control.
• Engage in RCA, FMEA, and customer complaints troubleshooting.
• Analyze process data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive process optimization in PDP and CD projects.
• Review and maintain process documentation.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily line troubleshooting and sustaining


• Ensure KPIs are closely monitored and within control


• Involve in RCA, FMEA and Customer Complaints Troubleshooting


• Analyze process data to identify improvement opportunities.


• Process Optimization and Improvement in ECN projects


• Maintain and Review Process Documentations


• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste.


• Verify and ensure BOM and Routing setup properly for new or existing material numbers in SAP


• Support customer / certification audit


• Support as internal auditors for certification need if necessary


• Ensure smooth transition to mass manufacturability in PDP and CD Projects


• Participant and support in New Process & Equipment Development Projects with NPI teams


• Involve in Procurement initiatives in 2nd sourcing or EOL situation


• Lead individual COGS/Cost Reduction Projects

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical, Electrical and electronics, Material science and etc.


• At least 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment


• Experience in Lean Six Sigma , Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification is highly advantageous


• Fundamental knowledge in Operational Health and Systems (OHS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).


• Fundamental SAP knowledge is an advantage to aid in creating BOM, Routing and New Material number creation
