  • Manage technical scope and contribute to project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Establish process design criteria, performance requirements, and project objectives.
  • Act as a technical advisor to clients and participate in meetings, workshops, presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and other design documentation.
  • Coordinate process engineering activities with civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, and other project disciplines.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to less-experienced engineers and designers.
  • Review project deliverables to ensure technical quality, consistency, and compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
  • Support proposals, project pursuits, client development, and other business development activities.
  • Work with regulatory bodies and other external stakeholders when required.
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of the organisation's water and wastewater capabilities.
  • Support alternative project delivery methods, including EPC and design-build projects.
  • Travel to client sites, project locations, and other meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Approximately 7 years or more of relevant process engineering experience, or equivalent experience with an appropriate postgraduate qualification.

  • Demonstrated experience taking technical responsibility for significant engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, design practices, and applicable industry standards.
  • Ability to develop practical, technically sound solutions to complex engineering problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with standard engineering and Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with municipal water or wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Experience with industrial water, wastewater, or utility systems.
  • Experience with EPC, design-build, or other alternative project delivery methods.
  • Experience leading process engineering activities on large or complex projects.
  • Experience with process modelling or simulation software.
  • Familiarity with relevant engineering codes, standards, and industry practices.
  • Existing relationships with water, wastewater, industrial, or governmental clients.
  • Experience supporting proposals, client development, and technical business development.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior engineering staff.
