Job summary

Cirtec Medical is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Process Development in Wisconsin to drive silicone extrusion process development from concept through transfer to manufacturing.

The role involves defining requirements, timelines, and deliverables for prototypes, process development, design verification, and manufacturing transfer. The position emphasizes collaboration with material science, tooling, and production teams to optimize silicone components and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM engineering discipline required.
• 5 years of experience in process development engineering.
• Experience in an engineering environment with mechanical, tool design, and manufacturing processes (medical device preferred).
• Ability to train new engineering employees on project engineering activities and Cirtec policies.

Responsibilities

• Attend and organize project meetings to discuss design and development initiatives.
• Serve as SME for silicone extrusion within Cirtec Plant network.
• Prepare proposals and quotations; coordinate with clients to resolve questions.
• Maintain project plans to satisfy milestones, budgets and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot production processes and evaluate test methods.
• Lead design, development, and validation activities including process transfer.
